Research & development

The doctors at the Beta Klinik work daily in inter-disciplinary teams on their patients’ health. In addition to the wide range of diagnostics and treatments, they also dedicate themselves to the field of research. Dealing with the development of new products and methods they dedicate themselves as medical researchers alongside their daily work. Research is carried out, published and medicine is thus advanced step by step.

Prof. Dr. med. Hans-Jürgen Biersack

was the Director of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Nuclear Medicine at the University in Bonn until he retired in 2013. The thyroid specialist is editor, author and co-author of many publications and specialist books. You can find a list of his publications on the National Center for Biotechnology Information page.

Dr. med. André W. Demant

is a radiologist and paediatric radiologist at the Beta Klinik. He was, amongst other things, the Polyclinic for Radiological Diagnostics consultant at the Clinic of the University of Cologne. As co-author, he received The Society for Paediatric Radiology Science Prize in 2011. You can read about his publications on the National Center for Biotechnology Information page.
